Many of you are already aware that I tend to use my blog as the social network that it is and also as my blog.
The reason that I do this: is because above all else; my primary desire; is to CONNECT with my readers.
First and foremost! Even before the sales of books; for me, it has always been about YOU.
Every Author wants to sell books: but a true artist wants to reach inside the very depths of your being and twist your insides so hard, that you have an emotional gut wrenching response to their words; this is me in a nutshell.
Before all else: I am motivated; touched and inspired when a reader reads something that I have written and says, “Oh my gosh, I have felt that, I have fantasized that, I have desired or even coveted that which I am reading about.”
That is what does it for me; a reader knowing that ‘I get it,’ but most of all; a reader knowing that ‘I get them;’ that I understand them; and that I am writing for and about them.’
So whether I put up a pic, a story, or an excerpt; just know: that I am giving you a piece of me; because I have connected with you…
