This is where it all started, in that little grey bldg in the back of an alley. Nothing but a desire to reach out and though a TV camera followed us, there was nothing glamorous about it. Though our location has changed throughout the years, the desire to reach out remains the same.

This is a blog that I created to basically write and flex my creative muscles.

I chose the name “Amber’s Alley,” because my husband and I started our first outreach center, in an alley.

There was nothing beautiful or prestigious about it but there was no denying that the lives that were changed and touched were nothing  short of beautiful.

I am many things, Author, Mother, Wife, philanthropist but this blog is not about who I am, nor is it about the many different hats that I wear.

This blog is about you.

It is about showing people, how taking what you have and reaching out, can make a difference.

We started with $500.00 and a few bags of clothes and we have watched it grow over the years.

One thing that I can assure you of,  by the time that you take a look around and turn over rocks, you will find a jewel, or a treasure, that will leave you feeling better when you exit, than when you entered.

That is my desire and purpose for this Blog.
